Store the sleeve in the freezer for at least 20-30 mins at -20°C (-4°F) to reach the ideal 'frozen' temperature. We recommend leaving it in the freezer so it's ready to use as soon as you need to use it.
For hot therapy, place the sleeve without bag in the microwave for as little as 10 seconds first. If more heat is needed, repeat using 5 seconds increments.

It's great. It's a shame it doesn't stay cold for longer (around 10 mins) but it's easy to use and helps my knee.

This thermax sleeve is great, specifically the ones I bought was for my elbows/forearms. Takes a few times to get it to as cold/hot as desired but once you have that down, it really helps!
I have used lots of different hot/cold packs. I like this brand the best. These Optimalax sleeves are form fitting and do an excellent job of covering the whole area with heat or cold. IMHO, these are superior to any others I’ve seen or used.

After using it for the first time, I realised that the cooling dissipate after 10 minutes. Disappointing because I prefer a product that retains it's coldness for at least 15 minutes, like real ice.

Easy to use. Stays in place. I actually bought one for my favorite Trainer who was complaining of elbow pain. She loved it. Her son also borrowed it as he is a pitcher in baseball and used as relief after pitching. I know have the knee, elbow and shoulder ones love them all.
